Henry R. Breck

Managing Partner

Henry is the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Heronetta Management, L.P. He was Chairman of Ark Asset Management Co., Inc., an institutional money management firm, from August 1989 until March 2008. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director and investment banker at Lehman Brothers and Chairman of Lehman Management Company, the investment management arm of Lehman Brothers. As part of this role, Henry was the Chairman of the Lehman Corporation and the Lehman Investors Fund. He joined Lehman Brothers in 1968 and was made a partner in 1972. Prior to his investment banking career, Henry was employed by the Central Intelligence Agency and also served in the U.S. Air Force. Henry is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He received his B.A. from Harvard University and an M.A. degree in Jurisprudence form Oxford (Balliol College).

Owen I. Breck


Owen is a Partner of Heronetta Management, L.P. He has over 15 years of experience as a private investor specializing in both the MLP and Canadian Oil and Gas industries. Owen received his B.A. in History from Harvard University in 2001, and after passing all three levels of the CFA program, is in the process of completing the required work component in order to be awarded the charter.

Jeffrey J. Scott, CPA, CFP®

Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer

Jeff is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Heronetta Management, L.P. He has substantial experience in all aspects of traditional and alternative investments, along with a career built in global finance. Throughout his career, Jeff has orchestrated the build-out and redesign of sophisticated wealth management and investment management platforms. He was President and CEO of White Bear Partners, LLC, a systematic, quantitative hedge fund firm, President and COO of Ark Asset Management LLC, an institutional money management firm and Senior Managing Director and COO of Union Bancaire Privee Asset Management LLC, a global fund of hedge funds firm. He spent 16 years at Citigroup in senior level business and finance positions, including Director of Alternative Investments at Smith Barney, COO and Head of Product Engineering and Distribution for the North American Institutional Market, the Global Private Bank and Smith Barney at Citigroup Alternative Investments, CFO of Citibank Global Asset Management and Director of Finance for the Citibank Global Consumer Bank. He started his career at Price Waterhouse, where he spent 11 years specializing in international banking and corporate finance. He obtained a B.S. from the University of Scranton.

Satyabrota Das, CFA, CAIA


Satyabrota Das is a quantitative consultant to Heronetta Management, LP. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Finance at UMass-Amherst. He has over ten years of experience working in financial markets. He has worked mainly in the alternative investments areas, particularly in commodities and hedge fund replication. He has developed and traded hedge fund replication products using liquid exchange-traded securities. He has also developed interactive web-based replication program that allows users to create customized replication portfolios with various assets. Previously, he supported the Alternative Commodity Benchmark Index, a second generation commodity index, fo almost seven years while working for Alternative Investment Analytics. He was involved in designing long-duration commodity strategies and managed futures strategies using ETFs. He has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, and an MS in Finance from Clark University. He is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.

Margaret S. Dicks

Head of Administration

Margaret is the head of Administrative for Heronetta Management, L.P. Her responsibilities include administrative support in the areas of human resources, tax and audit preparation, compliance and law. Prior to joining Heronetta, Margaret held various administrative positions in several national and international financial firms. Margaret received her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds certificates in finance, law and management from New York University.
